Ankasa, the home textiles brand of Sachin and Babi Ahluwalia, would be launching its new flagship store in SoHo, a neighbourhood in Lower Manhattan, New York City. The brand is known for its luxury home décor textiles, pillows, bedding items and the use of embroidery techniques. The new Ankasa store would be the brand’s biggest outlet to date. Wood, antiqued mirror and ethereal colours would be used in the interiors of the store to give it an aesthetic look, according to the company.
The new outlet would have a private design lounge, and a custom pillow bar where shoppers can choose from numerous pillow styles and change the colour of the base cloth, sequins, cording, etc, which would make it truly bespoke. Ankasa had drawn attention of the fashion industry by introducing some of the most magnificent hand embroidered designs form India. |
