Arvind Limited recently launched water components and O&M services business KaiGO. KaiGO and Envisol will focus on creating end-to-end solutions across projects, components and services for water treatment, industrial waste water treatment, sewage treatment, desalination and zero liquid discharge. This will be useful for EPC players and end users across water-intensive industries like textiles, tanneries, pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, food & beverages et al, the company said.
The Components and Spares vertical include the products or technologies used in the creation and maintenance of an efficient waste water treatment system. The range includes diverse products like MBR/RO/UF/NF Membranes, FRP Pressure Tanks & Tubes, Dosing pumps, DAF (Dissolved Air Flotation), Screens & Dewatering systems, MBBR Media, Jet mixers, Diffusers and treatment Chemicals.
The O&M vertical provides services spanning across a wide spectrum such as complete responsibility of operations and maintenance of a plant; annual on-site maintenance and checking of equipment, as well as revamping and retrofitting of existing water and wastewater treatment plants. The solution developed by Arvind makes Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology more affordable by going local and decreasing dependence on foreign providers, the company claims. It cuts lead times by up to 50 per cent, ensuring agile supply chains.
