New Delhi, Sept 6 (KNN) In a bid to create innovation ecosystem in the field of textiles and clothing, an innovation contest ‘INNOTEX 2018’ is being launched by Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), one of the leading apex industry associations of the Textile & Clothing Industry of India.
For the first time in the history of Indian textile & clothing industry such kind of contest will be conducted to promote innovative culture in the area of textiles and clothing. “INNOTEX 2018” is a contest for innovations in textile and clothing industry in the areas of design, method, cost, process, and product in any sector from ginning to garment. The competition is open to Indian nationals living in India or abroad and only individuals or a group of four is eligible to participate in the contest.
Further, Innovation older than April 1, 2017 will not be welcomed and the last date for the entries is September 20, 2018. The final round of the contest will be held on November 27-28, 2018 at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi along with CITI Global Textiles Conclave 2018. Apart from cash prizes, winners will get recognition on a credible platform and a market for the product.
