The innerwear segment has grown manifolds in India, but is yet to realise its full potential. During the last few decades, the organised inner wear sector has risen exceptionally. The men’s inner wear is currently worth rs. 9,477 cr as per 2017 estimates, and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7 per cent in the next decade to reach rs. 17,454 cr by 2027. While, the women’s inner is valued at rs. 18,454, and is expected to touch a whopping figure of rs. 56,364 cr by 2027, if it continues to grow at a fabulous rate of 12 per cent CAGR over the next decade.
