Garment Technology Expo (GTE 2020), one of India’s largest events dedicated to apparel & knitting technology began started off its 30th edition today at NSIC Exhibition Complex, Okhla, New Delhi. The four-day show, which runs from January 10-13, 2020, is celebrating GTE’s 20 years of service in the industry and witness a rich mix of technologies on garment stitching and processing on display from around 800 brands and companies.
The show was inaugurated with traditional lamp lighting ceremony by Chief Guest Ajit B Chavan, Secretary Textile Committee, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India; HKL Magu, Ex-Chairman, Apparel Export Promotion Council; Rajiv Dewan, President, Garment Exporters Association of Rajasthan; Vinod Thapar, President, Knitwear & Textile Club Ludhiana; Inderjit S Sahni, CMD, Garment Technology Expo; Anil Anand of HCA and Sunder Belani of Ramsons in the presence of leading players from the industry.
This is Indian subcontinent’s largest show for apparel technology, with unparalleled representation from all segments of the sector. The B2B Expo provides a single point meeting ground for the garment manufacturers and technology providers to discuss, source and access new launches & latest development in the industry under one roof.
Companies including leading manufacturers and suppliers of garment machinery and accessories from over 22 countries, i.e. Germany, Japan, Taiwan, China, Korea, Turkey, Italy, the US and India etc. are participating in the show. GTE has always been an integral trade platform cum showcase for companies, when launching new technologies and equipment.
