Primark, the fashion retailer which was first established in Dublin in 1969 and currently has over 350 stores across the UK, Ireland, Europe and the USA, has published information about the factories which manufacture its products on its website. Details include factory names, addresses, number of workers and gender split of the workforce. Primark clothes are made in countries including Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and China. The company says it has a strict code of conduct in place designed to ensure that the factories it works with respect the rights of their workforce.
