The Board of Directors of TT Limited met recently at New Delhi and decided to install a mega garment plant at their present factory at Gajroula (UP) as a diversification move from spinning to garments. This would enjoy benefits of Central subsidies and incentives as well as special subsidies and incentives declared by the new Textile Policy of Uttar Pradesh. TT Limited is restructuring its business. It is exiting from Spinning and entry garmenting and fabric business on a massive scale. Garment and fabric turnover is targeted to be doubled up 2018-19 and to target speedy growth in years thereafter. Company is also emphasising and expanding its retail stores under brand of “TT Bazaar.” 50 “TT Bazaar” stores have already opened. Another 50 stores are in pipeline. The company is targeting to open 250 such stores by 2019. All such stores shall be on Franchisee model. For Garment business and for TT Bazaar retail, company is appointing distributors in presently less covered state like Chhattisgarh, Assam, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Maharashtra.
