Arvind Limited, one of the largest textile companies in India, has reported 19 per cent decline in its revenue to Rs. 1,514 cr during third quarter (Q3) FY21 that ended on December 31, 2020, compared to the revenue of Rs. 1,869 cr in same period prior fiscal. For the reported quarter, company’s net profit was Rs. 25 cr (Q3 FY20: Rs. 36 cr).

EBIDTA for Q3 FY21 fell 13 per cent to Rs. 162 cr (Rs. 185 cr). Profit before tax was Rs. 48 cr (Rs. 64 cr). Revenue of textiles segment was Rs. 1,219 cr (Rs. 1,558 cr) while advance material’s revenue grew marginally to Rs. 188 cr (Rs. 184 cr).

Denim volumes recovered 88 per cent compared to Q3 FY20, whereas, woven volumes recovered 77 per cent and garment volumes stood at 89 per cent, as company reported in a report.
