Circ®, a U.S.-based innovator in textile-to-textile recycling, has announced a strategic five-year partnership with Arvind Limited, one of India’s largest integrated textile and apparel companies. Under the agreement, Arvind will purchase Circ’s recycled lyocell staple fiber and polyester chips to incorporate into its large-scale garment manufacturing operations.
This collaboration represents a significant step in expanding access to Circ’s circular fibers, accelerating the adoption of recycled polyester and lyocell among global brands that Arvind supplies.
Peter Majeranowski, CEO of Circ, emphasized, “This partnership continues a new chapter in the textile industry where scale and sustainability work hand in hand. By joining forces with one of the largest players in global textiles, we’re making textile-to-textile fibers available to more brands and unlocking circularity at true commercial scale.”
Arvind, widely recognized for its leadership in textiles and sustainability, will play a pivotal role in commercializing Circ’s recycled fibers through its global supply chain. The partnership builds on earlier collaborations, including Circ’s Fiber Club and multiple product trials.
Abhishek Bansal, Senior Vice President – Sustainability at Arvind, noted, “Our partnership with Circ brings innovative, recycled materials into our supply chain at scale. It enables us to offer our brand partners high-quality, circular fiber solutions that align with our commitment to the future of sustainable fashion.”
Together, the companies aim to reduce barriers for brands seeking to integrate next-gen fibers and to scale the presence of circular textiles across the global apparel industry.
