Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry has nominated Shri. Raja. M. Shanmugham, President, TEA as a Non-official Member for the Board of Trade and the Notification dated 8.7.2022 published in the Gazette of India yesterday.
The Board of Trade, chaired by Commerce and Industry Minister Shri. Piyush Goyal, advises the Government on policy measures to improve the country’s foreign trade. The terms of reference for the Non-official Members include providing a platform to States and UTs to articulate State oriented perspectives on trade policy, act as a facilitators in implementation of District Export Hub events including sensitization workshops, identification and promotion of identified products.
