With good availability of yarn and fabric, the readymade garment industry comes as the next natural choice for new investments. In the view of the high employment generation potential, the State Government has declared special incentives for garment manufactures.It is now one of biggest kids wear manufacturing hub in India for domestic market.
Looking at the growing potential and need for investment in new technology, the 1st edition of Garfab-TX Indore was launched by Vardaan events Pvt. Ltd. This is an international trade show on apparel and embroidery technology along with fabrics and accessories, was held at Labhganga Exhibition Centre, Indore from June 24 – 26, 2022. The show was supported by the local associations like Indore Ready Made Vastra Vyapari Sangh and Apparel Manufactures Society of Indore (AMSI). The event was inaugurated by Umesh Dembla, Vice President of AMSI in the presence of leading players from the Indore textile industry.
Garfab – TX Indore provided a unique platform for international and national technology suppliers to showcase their latest offering in CAD/CAM, Spreading, sewing, embroidery, printing and spare parts. Some of the brands on display were Juki, Jin, Jack, Siruba,Orbito, Durkopp, Bulmer , SinSim Liberty, Impress, Dalvinder and Sons, Astha, CMR, Axis enterprises, Toyo, Siliconi, Cerliani, DCC, Richpeace, Studio Next, Ramsons, Groz-Beckert, Pegasus, Mehala, Siruba etc.
Good number of trade visitors visited the three-day event to expand or upgrade their business opportunities in the textile industry in India. The show provided networking and engaging in investment opportunities during the show. The show has helped the industry to upgrade its factories from second-hand machines to new machines.
While speaking after the show BP Mishra, CEO, Vardaan Events Pvt. Ltd said, this is our first show in Indore, which is a growing market in apparel manufacturing. Improved market scenario and the latest technologies on display played an important role in attracting good quality visitors at the show. Prior to the show, some of the exhibitors were apprehensive about customers’ footfall, but when they came here it was far better than their expectations. All the exhibitors reported good number of enquiries and many on the spot order were also placed. So, again Garfab-TX proved itself as the best platform in this region.”
