Hohenstein has added to its global network of textile testing labs with the opening of a new laboratory in Shanghai, China. The facility has been established in the Pudong District industrial park and has been tipped to supplement capacities at its Hong Kong-based lab, specifically regarding inspection services.
Hohenstein, headquartered in Germany, offers the textile industry a vast array of testing and certification services to ensure the performance of their products.
“No matter where the examinations, tests, and analyses are carried out, all our laboratories work with state-of-the-art equipment and the same high standards,” noted Hohenstein’s Stefan Mecheels.

Boasting facilities across Germany, Hungary, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India and China, the company says it’s better placed to swiftly accommodate customer enquiries.
