 The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Roadmap to Zero Programme and IHE Delft signed an agreement that formalizes the cooperation on wastewater and effluent treatment education. The ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme aims to reduce the chemical footprint in the textile, apparel, and footwear industries.
The Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) Roadmap to Zero Programme and IHE Delft signed an agreement that formalizes the cooperation on wastewater and effluent treatment education. The ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme aims to reduce the chemical footprint in the textile, apparel, and footwear industries.
They plan to collaborate on training, building capacity, funding education, and innovating technology. With this collaboration, The ZDHC Roadmap to Zero Programme and IHE Delft aim to create a strong network of like-minded organisations that can exchange technical expertise and support developments around the world.
UNESCO-IHE Rector Eddy Moors, Head of Department Peter Van der Steen, Associate professor Wastewater Treatment Technology Carlos M. Lopez Vazquez and, on behalf of the ZDHC Foundation, Executive Director Frank Michel & Senior Implementation Manager Mariëlla Noto, gathered for this special moment at the UNESCO-IHE Institute in Delft, Netherlands.
