The company recently organised Signature Textile Machine Festival from 27- 29, March 2019 at Signature World, Surat, Gujarat, India. During the event, the company kept its latest 25 machines on display. Here it provided the customers an opportunity to see live production by machines, do project cost working and see actual product sample library.
The three-day event was visited by customers from all over Surat to see the machines. The motive behind organising the three-day Signature Festival was to give an open textile machine showroom to the customers to try and buy. Basically, here they could visit, see live demonstration, prepare samples, and if approved by their end customers then they can buy the machine.
The machines on display included variety of machines including 3 Panna Rapier with 5376 hooks El. Jacquard running at 400 rpm (Latest), also available in 300 rpm; High speed Rapier with Staubli Dobby running at 500 rpm; 2 Panna Rapier + 2688 hooks with inbuilt gantry running at 200 rpm, Airjet loom with CAM & Jacquard, Electric Jacquard or shuttle loom and Rapier Loom, Embroidery machine 250 mm area with dual sequence and cording running at 100 rpm; Circular Terry Jacquard (Latest); Full Pearl Reveting Machines (Latest); Full Pearl- Half Pearl Reveting Machines; Flower Pearl Reveting Machines (Latest); Mix Auto Pearl Reveting Machines (Latest); New Embroidery devices; Yarn Preparatory Machines and many more…According to the company, the machines offered by Signature are China made but offer same quality like Europeans, and price wise are almost half of them.

We showed customers live demo of our machine, explained them project cost working and kept sample library of all machines. We also gave them videos showing them all machine details. The main highlight here is our newly invented fastest runaway rapier loom at 400 rpm at 360 cm,” said Ashok Adwani, Chairman, Signature Textile Machines. “The event created wonderful responses for us. Apart from company owners we also invited 300 technicians so that they could also give us suggestion and meet our Chinese technicians to clear their doubts. At this festival, more than customers we got information which are going to help us in improving our machines.”
“We have India’s first textile machine showroom having approx. 30 machines. All in one live demo under centre was opened with a motive Come try and buy. Customers can do their trial, R&D experiments and if convinced then buy the machines. It’s one of its kind in India, and was started 4 years back,” said Sunil Adwani, Director, Signature Textile Machines.
“Here customers can get world class support for any machine from our expert team. There are two technical staff like professors who are replying to their queries very patiently. We have adequate staff to show them the machine running. Till day we have developed 300 trained operators for rapier loom from this showroom. Anyone can come and have training, as the system is open for everyone. Besides, customers can make their own sample studio on our machine at absolutely no cost,” concluded Sunil.

Hence, we don’t keep stocks as we are already short of delivery and are receiving orders more than production. However, major plus point for us is that at present markets like Pakistan, China, Bangladesh are down, so whatever booking will be there it will delivered on time. But we will be keeping Yuemei’s original spare parts at our warehouse. We will educate customer that if they use cheap spare parts it can badly impact the machines, and encourage them to go for only originals,” added Rajesh. After formation of this company, everything in embroidery whether designs, machine, devices, attachments, spare parts is getting manufactured by Yuemei at its factory in China and then supplied to India.

Bliss Impex becomes world’s 1st to have 4 Durst printers under one roof

Bliss Impex, is a company involved in conventional printing, digital printing and schiffli embroidery. Right now it has installed 3 of Alpha 190 and 1 of Alpha 180 machines; three are reactive while 1 is sublimation cum direct polyester disperse printing machine. These are high speed machines, which have 64 heads and it has been printing on them since post Diwali.
All four machines have been installed at Bliss Impex’s new plant in Gurugram, which was inaugurated by company’s Directors Ravinder Jain, Ekansh Jain, Nawal Khanna and Sawan Khanna along with Axel Stuhlreiter, Product Manager – Textile Printing, Durst Phototechnik AG, Headquarters; Christian Harder, Global Sales Director, Durst Phototechnik AG, Headquarters; Panos Bartziokas, Regional Business Manager, Durst Phototechnik Digital Technology GmbH; Dr. Rajeev N Verma, MD Durst India Pvt. Ltd. in the presence of other senior members from both the companies.
“Our company is into conventional and digital printing. We got in touch with Durst around 4 years back. They first put their machine in ITMA Mumbai, which was their first exhibition. Finally, after researching for a few years, when we came to the right kind of pricing and costing, we collaborated with them. So now Bliss Impex has the maximum number of Durst machines. I don’t think that in all over world they don’t have more than 4 machines under the same shed,” said Ekansh Jain, while speaking exclusively to Apparel Views, Assistant Editor, Swati Sharma.
“The reason behind going for Durst was one, we wanted to get out of conventional printing, how we see India changing and in another 5 years, we feel that India’s going to completely become digital. Conventional printing is coming to an end and this is a new era of printing, which we were thinking of introducing and we are the first plant producing this kind of printing. Durst gives the right sharpness, and the depth which is not given by any other 
available brand in the market,” said Ekansh.
Highlighting about the technology Ekansh said, “We have installed 3 of Alpha 190 and 1 of Alpha 180 machines from Durst; three are reactive while 1 is sublimation cum direct polyester disperse printing machine. The reactive machines are doing 45,000 sq. mtr per day and disperse printing machine is doing 4,000-5,000 sq mtr per day. The best part of digital is that there is no limitation of colours. So from about 8 colours, we get about 3,600 colours and can print anything.”
“Ours is a job work unit, so all of the people who are into the garment printing or reactive printing, they are my customers. The kind of pricing that we are giving is given by nobody in digital. Last month, we did a production of 3 lakh mtr. and that is the biggest advantage of the machine, it has proven its quality and its speed. We are looking forward to more industrial orders. We’ll definitely try to double our turnover in the next 2-3 years from the digital point of view and slightly give an end to conventional. We are already in process of finalizing the order for our next Durst machine, and soon for the first time in India, Durst Alpha 190 – Green Inks (Pigment Inks) will be installed at our plant”.
