The India International Garment Fair will hold its 70th edition to date in New Delhi from 26th-29th February as part of global textile trade show Bharat Tex 2024. The industry event will focus on sustainability in fashion and is supported by the government’s Ministry of Textiles.
The official website of the trade fair states that it would be held at Yashonhoomi and Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. Product categories including children’s clothing, fashion accessories, women’s clothing, and men’s clothing will be the main focus of the event. The trade event will showcase traditional, ethnic, fusion, and western clothing categories, and both makers and suppliers will be present.
“Providing an opportunity to new entrants as well as established players to showcase their products in front of global buyers,” announced IIGF on its website. “Every year buyers from entire global countries visit the fair and do the business worth millions of US dollars.”
This season, IIGF has added a variety of extras to attract buyers, such as complimentary hotel stays for up to four nights, four days of lunch at the trade show venue and transportation from the airport to the venue. With over 300 exporters expected to attend, buyer registration is now open. The trade show’s goal is to present a wide range of India’s fashion offerings to international wholesalers and retailers, among others.
