The Eastern UP Exporters Association (EUPEA) hosted the 10th Edition of HINDTEX, a premier reverse buyers-sellers meet for handlooms, handicrafts, and GI-tagged products. The event was organised from 6th to 8th October, 2025, at the Deen Dayal Hast Kala Sankul (TFC), Badalalpur, Varanasi, under the aegis of the Development Commissioner (Handicrafts), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India.

The HINDTEX 2025 show brought together international buyers, exporters, manufacturers, domestic brands, whole sellers, artisans, and weavers, creating a unique platform to promote sourcing opportunities and highlight India’s unparalleled craftsmanship. The exhibition featured iconic Benarasi sarees, fabrics (handwoven & powerloom), scarves, carpets, and a wide range of handicrafts, most of them holding the prestigious Geographical Indication (G.I.) tag.

During the event, EUPEA representatives said, “In just four decades, EUPEA has built a strong ecosystem to support product development, sustainability, and growth for artisans and exporters. HINDTEX reflects our vision to connect India’s traditional strengths with global markets.”

As one of India’s oldest living cities, Varanasi offers a perfect backdrop to this international event. Known as the country’s spiritual capital, Varanasi is also the parliamentary constituency of Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji. With excellent connectivity through air, rail, road, and waterways, the city is well equipped with modern infrastructure to support global trade.

The show had more than 60 exhibitors with all about Banaras fabric, Handloom, Handicraft and Carpets. The next edition of HINDTEX 2026 will have bigger participation from the industry, giving an enriching experience where heritage, culture, and commerce converge.
