50+ Indian pavilion kicks off Intex Sri Lanka 2023The 12th Edition of Intex, the Sri Lanka edition commenced recently amidst great anticipation by the industry. Intex returned to Sri Lanka in 2023 to further revitalize international trade through face-to-face business interactions. The show was inaugurated recently in the presence of Chief Guest Dr. Satyanjal Pandey, Acting High Commissioner, High Commission of India in Colombo and Guest of Honour Dr. Kingsley Bernard, Chairman & Chief Executive, Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB).

Present in the audience were Ambassadors from Indonesia, Malaysia and Korea as well as diplomatic representatives from other overseas missions like Turkey, Egypt and Bangladesh. Also present were heads of industry bodies such as SLABA, SLASA, SLAEA, SLCGE and FTZMA.

Taking place from August 9 to 11 2023 at BMICH, Colombo, Intex is South Asia’s leading international textile sourcing show for fibers, yarns, fabric, denim, trims, dyes and more for the apparel industry. Intex Sri Lanka creates a new paradigm in textile sourcing by successfully integrating the entire value chain on a single, global business platform.

In a country where demand for different types of input material is always high, Intex will enable businesses to explore new market opportunities as well as assist Sri Lankan industry to connect with new suppliers and new products & services.
