The Department of Textile Technology of Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore is organising a three days AICTE sponsored National Seminar on “Industrial Engineering in Textile and Apparel Industry” on 28th to 30th December 2017 at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore, India.
In this regard it has invited eminent speakers/experts from industry to disseminate the various concepts of Industrial Engineering Techniques such as Capacity Study, Bundle Diagnosis concepts, Thread consumption calculation, Method Analysis and Role of IE in Marketing, Destructive Thought Process in Apparel Manufacturing, SMV concepts, Operation Bulletin, Layout and Line balancing, Lean Manufacturing, Scientific method of training – Sewing operators etc., which is a key tool to improve the productivity and quality in the textile and apparel industry.
This seminar is wished-for for a broad range of people, including students, researchers, industrialist and academics, as well as professionals in the textile and clothing industries.
