Arvind Limited (Arvind Mills) is marking its official entry into Uttar Pradesh with a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Varanasi. Marking this momentous milestone, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will officially inaugurate the new facility on October 25, 2026, alongside UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Established under Arvind’s wholly owned subsidiary, Arvind Technical Products Private Limited (ATPPL), this greenfield project represents a strategic pivot to tap into the high-potential textile ecosystem of North India.

Spanning over 8 acres along NH-19 in Mirza Murad, Varanasi, the Phase-1 facility represents an initial investment of approximately ₹150 Crore. The plant is geared toward manufacturing high-quality apparel, garments, and advanced human protection fabrics under the central government’s Production Linked Incentive scheme. It will cater to leading global and domestic brands like Jockey, US Polo, and Arrow.

This facility is a significant socio-economic driver, creating almost 1,000 direct jobs, of which 300+ are local women. This is just Phase-1. Supported by a recent ₹600 Crore QIP approval, Arvind is positioning this Varanasi hub for rapid, multi-phase infrastructure scaling to feed its global export supply chains.
