China, Bangladesh Ink MoU to boost textile and apparel cooperationThe Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh (CEAB) and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Textiles signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), aimed at enhancing bilateral cooperation in the textile and apparel sector.

The MoU is focused on joint exhibitions, trade promotion, advancing sustainable innovation in textile manufacturing and so on. The signing ceremony took place at the CEAB office in the Baridhara Diplomatic Zone, Dhaka recently.

Ge Zhenyu (Mike), President, Chinese Enterprises Association in Bangladesh Textile and Garment Branch from CEAB and Zhang Xi’an, Vice Chairman from CCCT signed the MoU on behalf of their organisations.

The event coincided with the official visit of a high-level delegation from China to Bangladesh, which took place under the invitation of Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).

By establishing this MoU, CEAB and CCCT aim to create a long-term framework for cooperation that will drive the development of the textile and apparel industries in both Bangladesh and China.
