Colortone Garments gets approval for new apparel unit in Odisha, IndiaThe State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) of India’s Odisha state recently approved 11 industrial projects in several sectors, including textiles and apparel and renewable energy, worth nearly Rs. 3,266 cr at its 119th meeting. The projects are expected to generate 9,146 jobs.

The meeting was chaired by state chief secretary Pradeep K Jena.

The projects will be set up in Balasore, Bolangir, Kalhandi, Khurda and Jajpur districts, according to media reports from the state.

Colortone Garments Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of First Steps Baby-Wear, will set up integrated apparel manufacturing facility with an investment of over Rs. 200 cr, offering employment to over 4,800.

IDVB Recycling Operations Pvt Ltd will set up a unit of recycled PET flakes and recycled PET resin products having an annual capacity of 63,000 MT, with an investment of Rs. 318 cr. The project will employ over 240.
