Kerala-based clothing start-up Giacca & Abito Sartoriale Fashion (G&A) has received funding from angel investors Sonu Vaidyan and Sony Vaidyan – Directors of Syama Dynamic Group. The clothing start-up will, reportedly, utilise the funds to expand its presence across India, besides diversifying its product categories. The amount raised hasn’t been revealed as yet.
Here it is important to mention that G&A plans to unveil its ethnicwear line and enter the global market by early next financial year. More on the funding, Sreejith Sreekumar, Founder CEO of G&A, said that investment will help G&A attain its dream of reaching Rs. 20 cr revenue in the next fiscal.
He added that investment is a definitive recognition of G&A’s commitment to making luxury menswear accessible and affordable, without making any compromise on quality.
G&A is today known for T the Brand, which caters to workwear segment, and the Bare Brown brand for casualwear. It already has an established presence in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal and Bihar, amongst others.
