Global Reporting Initiation (GRI), a partner of UNDP, is training a total of 60 companies on sustainability reporting at the HSBC-UNDP Suppliers workshop. The workshop is taking place two months after the HSBC-UNDP workshop on sustainability in the apparel sector.
The BGMEA is now following up on 54 percent of follow up requests: awareness on SDG impact measurement (21 percent) and partnership to support the whole industry (33 percent). An MoU between UNDP and BGMEA has already been signed to facilitate an SDG factory survey with GRI as technical partner.
