Among the various categories, the CITI – Rajesh Bheda Consulting Best HR Practices Award highlights companies that foster an inclusive, ethical, and employee-centric workplace culture where people can thrive and give their best.

This year, Gokaldas Exports Ltd. emerged as the winner of the CITI – Rajesh Bheda Consulting Best HR Practices Award earning recognition for its innovative workforce strategies that drive both employee well-being and business performance. With a 10% increase in employment and high retention rate, the company has created a stable and motivated workforce—a key differentiator in the apparel industry. Their substantial investment in training reflects a deep commitment to skill development, particularly through the WE LEAD program, which has nearly doubled female supervisory representation from 22% to 41% in just three years. Meanwhile, 16% of senior management roles are now held by women, reflecting progress but also highlighting areas for further focus in gender diversity beyond entry-level leadership. This initiative not only fosters gender inclusivity but also enhances leadership capabilities, technical expertise, and workplace efficiency.

• Second Runner-Up: Banswara Syntex Apparel Unit, honoured for fostering an inclusive, fair, and diverse workplace by promoting skill development, equal opportunities, and sustainability, ensuring the industry moves toward a more sustainable and people-centric future.
