The fourth edition of Exhibition Excellence Awards was held at India Expo Mart Limited in Greater Noida recently. The mega event was joined by the stalwarts of leading sectors including Gems, Jewelry, Wedding, Fashion, Textiles, Apparel, Electronics, Technology, Travel, Tourism, Engineering and Industrial. Renowned firm KPMG was appointed as the Process Advisers & Evaporators for the Exhibition Excellence Awards 2019. An expert panel of jury comprising of leading professionals from diverse backgrounds, was set up to oversee the nomination process.
Among the esteemed jury panel, were some of the names, Vinod Sibal, Ex. Director General of Hydrocarbons, Govt. of India, Dr. Manohar Sajnani, Dean – Dept. of Tourism, Amity University, Tarang Khosla, Chief Editor, Exhibition Showcase, Atul Chaturvedi, CEO, Agro Business, Adani Group and Basit Umer, Bureau Chief, Barcroft Media. At this occasion, India’s leading trade show Garment Technology Expo 2018 was honored by Exhibition Showcase with the Winner Trophy of The Leading Show Textile, Apparel category. The award was received by Ambrish Chopra, Director of Garment Technology Expo (GTE).
Exhibition Showcase organises these awards every year and this year Exhibition Excellence Awards were being given not only to stalwarts of exhibition industry for their performance in 2018 – for contributing and generating employment on large scale and playing catalyst to the Nation’s economic growth – but also honouring those who are new to the field and putting in their efforts to promote ‘Make in India’, ‘Start up India’ and ‘Skill India’. The idea behind Exhibition Excellence Awards is to promote and glorify the Exhibition and Convention Industry and to recognise the hard work of exhibition fraternity.
