The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) hosted the 17th edition of Hyundai India Couture Week in association with Reliance Brands from July 24 to July 31 at the Taj Palace, New Delhi. The 17th edition of India Couture Week saw 14 Indian designers, including Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla, Amit Aggarwal, Dolly J, Falguni Shane Peacock, Gaurav Gupta Couture, Jayanti Reddy, JJ Valaya, Kunal Rawal, Rahul Mishra, Rimjim Dadu, Roseroom by Isha Jajodia, Siddharth Tytler, Suneet Varma and Tarun Tahiliani, showcasing their stunning collections on a star-studded runway.
Sunil Sethi, Chairman, FDCI expressed his happiness and said, “FDCI is delighted to partner with Hyundai Motors India Limited for yet another year of India Couture Week. Our collaboration has been an exciting journey of creativity and innovation. This year’s event was even more spectacular, with Falguni Shane Peacock as our closing show designer. Abu Sandeep’s majestic showcase at India Couture Week
Abu Sandeep’s latest collections, ASAL and MARD, debuted with grandeur at Hyundai FDCI India Couture Week in New Delhi. With Wamiqa Gabbi and Taha Shah Badussha as the showstoppers, the event featured a dramatic Haveli-inspired backdrop and a fusion of traditional and modern elements. Gabbi dazzled in an ivory lehenga and a regal red bridal ensemble, while Badussha impressed in crystal-embellished silk and brocade. The collection blended heritage craftsmanship with contemporary flair, celebrating both traditional elegance and modern sophistication.
