Madame, one of India’s leading western wear fashion brands, has claimed that it has performed well in the first quarter of the current fiscal (2022-2023). Following this, the brand is now eyeing an overall turnover of more than Rs. 350 crore in FY’22-23.

In a release, the company said that the brand had achieved a turnover of over Rs. 270 cr even when the markets were facing challenges of inflation and post-pandemic slowdown. The brand is expecting an increase of 25-40 per cent in its turnover in the next two years. Madame has also signed the bollywood celebrity Tara Sutaria as the Brand Ambassador and plans to go international in the next three to four years.

“We are sure that we will be giving tough competition to the international brands in global markets going forward,” said Rahul Kant, CFO, Madame. He further added that the mission for the next quarter is sales enhancement to achieve a 100 per cent plus set goal and the vision is to give the ultimate shopping experience to customers.

The brand also has plans to expand in places like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Goa, Karnataka, Kerala, Bihar and Jharkhand in the short run. Madame started its first store in 2002 and now has over 150 storefronts and another 700 retail touch points across the country.
