It’s no surprise that the line’s vision and promise zeroes in on casual sophistication; it’s about making style an everyday affair. How? Through ISKO’s textile and technology expertise and know-how which finds new application in the creation of a collection of versatile fabrics for modern living. The Casual Line’s material formula combines elegance with all-day comfort; sustainably focused, these woven fabrics are made with renewable resources and recycled materials.
Specifically, the Casual Line utilises a unique patented fabric technology. The yarns are made with FSC® certified viscose and certified post-consumer recycled polyester and are combined in varying percentages to create a range of versatile fabrics. The combination of long-length fibres gives the fabrics a fine appearance with excellent durability. The cellulosic viscose provides a soft touch, contributing to the fabrics’ comfort and breathability.
Another significant aspect of the collection is its versatility. Casual Line fabrics are diverse, in that they are made to meet any style and taste, and offer support with low-to-high stretch performance. Ultimately, Casual Line fabrics are designed for varied, modern lifestyles and people of all ages. Join Mirela Slowik, Category Lead, to know more about it (7 February, 4.30pm).
The environmental aspect of this collection stands out not only in the use of FSC® certified viscose, but also in the bigger recycling picture where recycling companies like RE&UP are pushing the boundaries of textile-to-textile recycling. Re&Up is SANKO’s new state-of-the-art recycling technology venture whose General Manager Andreas Dorner will hold a presentation on “Revolutionising textile-to-textile recycling with RE&UP technologies” (6 February, 4pm).
