ISKO will be Denim Première Vision’s mainDuring the spring edition of Denim Première Vision at Superstudio Più in Milan, a special exhibition and celebration will take place to honor the legacy of Luigi Martelli, the “gentleman-artist” whose work transformed the denim finishing industry, ultimately shaping the future of denim. This emotional and immersive exhibition retraces his visionary journey, highlighting the deep human and creative impact he left on generations of professionals who either directly or indirectly have been influenced by his humanity and craftsmanship.

As main partner of the project, ISKO is proud to contribute to this industry-wide tribute that not only celebrates Martelli’s pioneering role, but also emphasizes the values that continue to inspire the textile world today – innovation, authenticity, and a shared commitment to meaningful progress.

ISKO has always shared a deep connection with Luigi Martelli and his legacy, one rooted in mutual respect, shared values, and a long-standing personal friendship with ISKO CEO Fatih Konukoglu. This bond of vision and intent led to the creation of the ISKO Martelli laundry in Bursa, Türkiye – a facility that stands as a testament to Martelli’s pioneering spirit. Blending advanced technology with artisanal sensibility, the project redefined denim finishing through a new lens of precision, creativity, and responsibility, also leading to him being honored among the esteemed Bluemasters featured in the book published by ISKO and Archroma in 2014.

“Luigi Martelli was a true innovator – someone who moved the industry forward while never losing sight of the human dimension behind every breakthrough,” said Fatih Konukoglu, CEO at ISKO. “We’re honored to support this tribute and help keep his story alive for those shaping the future of denim.”
