kiscoIn an era where the textile industry is being reshaped by growing environmental mandates and customer expectations, KISCO India Private Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the global textile solutions leader Kyung-In Synthetic Corporation (KISCO), Korea, is stepping forward with bold solutions. On July 11th, 2025, KISCO India organized a high-impact seminar in Tirupur, the nerve centre of India’s knitwear and apparel export industry, under the theme: “Innovative, Sustainable & Dependable Solutions for the Textile Industry.”

KISCO: A Legacy of Responsible Innovation
Founded in 1971 in South Korea, KISCO has established itself as a global powerhouse in the field of dyes and textile chemicals. With a strong presence across over 60 countries, KISCO’s philosophy is rooted in performance with conscience, backed with strong R&D capabilities—delivering high-performance colorants that meet the rigorous standards of global brands, while ensuring resource efficiency, ecological compliance, and worker safety.

KIPL – A Partner to India’s Growing Textile Processing Industry
Since its inception in 2012, KISCO India Private Limited (KIPL) has played a vital role in bringing these globally benchmarked solutions closer to Indian processors. With a technical team that understands local needs and a product portfolio aligned with India’s textile industry, KISCO India has become synonymous with reliability, committed customer support and fair work practices.

This seminar was a part of KIPL’s knowledge-sharing initiatives and aims to highlight critical innovations for the evolving demands of textile dyeing—not only specific to the South Indian market, but for every textile processing mill.

Key Highlights of the Seminar
New products and concepts have been developed to address industry challenges of environmental regulations, higher productivity, shorter lead time, higher color durability, meeting fastness parameters in active wear clothing containing high spandex content.

1. Synozol NaturePlus: The Future of Reactive Dyeing
One of the major launches at the seminar is Synozol NaturePlus, KISCO’s next-generation reactive dye range that marks a paradigm shift in sustainable processing.

Key features include:
Easy washing-off with just 4 baths in light medium shades and 5 baths in dark shades, significantly reducing water usage by 40% and subsequently the effluent load
Low-temperature processing (60°C), leading to up to 50% savings in energy. The dyeing step as well as washing-off is done at 60°C.
Reduced cycle time, allowing to increase the productivity with the same set up.
Excellent fastness to washing, chlorine, and oxidative bleach, ensuring longer fabric life and meeting international retailers’ requirements.

Case studies of production trials of different shades was showcased to bring forward the practically feasible benefits.

2. Synolon EXW & EXW-SP: Advanced Chemistry for Activewear
With polyester-based garments dominating today’s performance and athleisure segments, KISCO has stepped up by introducing latest product line-up in SYNOZOL EXW series: SYNOLON EXW-SP range to address the persistent challenges in fabrics containing high spandex content which goes up to 20-25% in today’s advance clothing. This range offers high heat stability in such fabrics which enables processors to do finishing at higher temperatures to increase productivity as well as dimensional stability of fabrics.

Developed specifically for PES/Spandex blends, these dyes offer:
Outstanding wet and dry fastness, even at high-stretch ratios
Minimal staining on adjacent fibers and machinery
Superior stability during heat setting and pigment printing

4. Made 2 Last – KISCO’s Quality Assurance Program for Color Durability
As consumers increasingly expect longevity from their garments, KISCO introduces Made 2 Last—a unique quality assurance program that ensures superior colour durability up to 20 home launderings when fabric is dyed with recommended dyestuffs. As a part of this program, KIPL will actively check production lots to keep the good and consistent quality of supplied fabrics.

There is provision of providing Hang tags for retailers as an option as a visual commitment to performance to end-consumers.
