Kordsa inaugurated its additional polyester line in Turkey with an investment of $18 mn in order to meet the increasing demand in the field. Kordsa, providing reinforcement technologies to the global market, had announced a polyester yarn investment in both Indonesia and Turkey which would enable 7,000 tonne of additional capacity in each plant in 2016. Now, Kordsa’s $18 mn worth investment in İzmit became operational. With this new line, equipped with the latest technology, a new generation of polyester yarn products with higher resiliency and better dimensional stability will be produced in addition to the standard HMLS polyester yarn.
