Lakmé Fashion Week, Fashion Design Council of India, and Rise Worldwide have borne various initiatives, throughout the years, emphasizing the advantages of Sustainable Fashion and its effect on the environment. For this season, the leading forces of Beauty & Fashion in India – Lakmé Fashion Week, jointly organised by Lakmé & RISE; and the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), will be celebrating the sustainable innovations in fashion at Sustainable Fashion Day on 13th October at the Jio World Convention Centre

The upcoming edition of fashion week marks our return to Mumbai after 16 years and we are thrilled to celebrate sustainable fashion day this season. We have an array of bright designers that are working with some of the leading brands in green fashion and we are extremely excited to see their collections materialize on the runway.”

With this season, we are pushing forward our efforts for significant conversations around Sustainable Fashion and circular innovations as well as our commitment to go carbon neutral by 2025 as an event.”
