Looking at this GTE started here 2006 in GTE Bengaluru stands at the threshold of its 32nd edition, which will be held from 8th–10th October at Gayatri Vihar, Palace Ground. This is South India’s most comprehensive garment technology expo, showcasing anything and everything related to garment making. GTE Bengaluru, having started in 2006 is held every alternate year and is also growing in stature and reach with each show. The last show was held in August 2018 and was keenly patronized by the apparel and knitting machinery & accessories manufacturing and the show is keenly awaited by industry.

Having started in 2001 with 87 participants and managing 4700 visitors, the show has grown many folds through its journey of 31 editions of consistent patronage. The last edition of Garment Technology Expo (GTE Delhi 2022) was held in May 2022 at NSIC Okhla, New Delhi where prominent manufacturers and suppliers of garment machineries from various countries participated.
GTE Bengaluru and Ahmedabad are held once in every two years whereas GTE Delhi show is held once in every year.The next destination of GTE is in Ahmedabad from 02–04 March 2023 at Gandhinagar, and followed by GTE Delhi 2023 from 21st–24th July at Greater Noida.
