Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath conferred First Prize in State Export Promotion award 2018-19 to Dr. Mukesh Kansal, Chairman, CTA Apparels at the recently concluded special event organised on the occasion of Uttar Pradesh Day in Lucknow on January 24, 2019. This first prize is in recognition of the distinguished achievements, innovations in the area of Cotton Garments Manufacturing and Exports achieved by CTA Apparels in the year 2018-19. Dr. Kansal said, “I dedicate this award to my wife, children and the CTA team which is like my bigger extended family. This award will give immense encouragement to all of us in the CTA team to reach greater heights in the times to come.”
Dr. Mukesh Kansal, started CTA Apparels with just one single machine, which was being used for sampling and then production was outsourced for small export turnover to European countries. His financial analysis, innovation and problem solving approach has been the benchmark towards the accelerated growth of CTA’s development which is now a leading brand in terms of quality, compliance and highly customer satisfaction. And that is the reason that Dr. Kansal with his vision and strategic thinking has made CTA from one machine company to 3,000 machine company today with an annual turnover of around RS. 200 cr last year. CTA Apparels has recently added a complete modern textile processing house in its vertical set-up to cater the internal needs of garmenting segment and also to sell the process fabric to different reputed garment exporters of India.
