Nahar Spinning Mills Ltd has reported a strong financial turnaround for the second quarter of FY27, posting a standalone net profit of Rs 71 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026. The company had registered a standalone net loss of Rs 4.64 crore during the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
The latest results mark a significant year-on-year improvement in the company’s financial performance, with the textile manufacturer moving from a loss position to substantial profitability during the quarter.
The turnaround comes amid changing market conditions in the domestic textile and spinning industry, where raw material prices, yarn demand and export realisations continue to influence manufacturers’ operating performance.
Nahar Spinning Mills, headquartered in Ludhiana, Punjab, is engaged in the textile manufacturing sector. Its latest quarterly performance highlights a notable improvement in earnings compared with the same period last year.
