The Korea Federation of Textile Industries (KOFOTI) said on the 19th that Preview in Seoul (PIS) 2026 opened that day at Hall A and The Platz of COEX in Seoul’s Gangnam district. PIS is one of South Korea’s leading textile events, bringing together global textile and fashion materials companies and buyers. This year drew 526 firms in total, including 267 domestic companies and 259 companies from 12 other countries. The exhibition runs through the 21st.

The event showcases products and technologies from across the textile industry, including yarn, fabric, knits and accessories, along with eco-friendly materials, advanced functional materials and artificial intelligence (AI) and digital solutions. About 200 invited overseas buyers — including representatives of global brands such as Ralph Lauren, Lululemon and Lacoste and of major vendors — are visiting the exhibition to hold sourcing talks with domestic materials companies. Advance consultation bookings through the Business Matching System (BMS), introduced last year, reached about 1,360, up 18% from a year earlier.

“Cooperation across the entire industry, from upstream to midstream and downstream, is the essence of the textile and fashion business,” KOFOTI Chairman Choi Byung-oh said. “I hope PIS serves as an occasion for the industry to move toward the future together.”
