The Textile Association (India), Mumbai unit, held its 74th Annual General Body Meeting, with strong member participation. Rajiv Ranjan was unanimously re-elected as President, and R. R. Patil as Vice President for the term 2025–26 to 2028–29.

The Managing Committee and Governing Council also appointed the following office bearers: President Emeritus: C. Bose, Chairman: V. C. Gupte, Vice Chairmen: Dr. G. S. Nadiger, V. A. Bhajekar (Rahul), Hon. Secretary: Haresh B. Parekh, Joint Hon. Secretaries: Navin P. Agrawal, Rajendra Ranadive, and Hon. Treasurer: Prof. K. D. Gawand.

With over 40 years of experience in the textile sector, Ranjan has led strategic business transformations and operations across multiple domains, including as Executive Director & CEO of Hindoostan Mills Ltd. and President (Textiles) at Mafatlal Industries Ltd. He has been instrumental in driving greenfield projects, scaling operations and enhancing profitability.

As President of the Mumbai unit, Ranjan continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the textile industry in India.
