Shree Karni Fabcom Limited announced a strategic partnership with a globally recognised Italian manufacturer of technical knitted fabrics to promote and distribute premium fabric products across India.
The partnership is aimed at strengthening the company’s presence in India’s fast-growing premium apparel and performance textile segments, particularly in categories such as sportswear, swimwear and activewear, a company release submitted to the National Stock Exchange of India said.
The disclosure was made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. According to the company, the agreement gives Shree Karni Fabcom exclusive rights to promote, brand and drive sales of the Italian manufacturer’s premium technical knitted fabric portfolio in India. The company said the collaboration is expected to support rising demand from Indian apparel brands looking for high-performance stretch fabrics and technically advanced textile materials.
As per the release, the Italian textile group has more than 60 years of operating history and manufacturing capabilities across Italy, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Shanghai and the United States. Its product range includes Nylon Spandex and Polyester Spandex fabric categories certified under international standards such as GRS (Global Recycled Standard) and OEKO-TEX Standard 100.
The company added that the partnership aligns with increasing industry demand for sustainable, performance-oriented and globally certified fabrics in the Indian apparel market. The development also reflects a broader shift in India’s textile sector, where premium activewear and sportswear demand has been growing steadily alongside rising consumer preference for high-quality technical fabrics.
Shree Karni Fabcom Limited operates in the textile and knitted fabric segment with a focus on apparel-linked textile applications. The latest partnership expands the company’s exposure to premium technical fabrics used in sportswear, swimwear, beachwear and activewear categories.
According to the company release, the Italian manufacturer supplies fabrics to global apparel brands including Adidas, Nike, Speedo, Lululemon, Calvin Klein, Decathlon and Puma. The company highlighted growing opportunities in India’s premium apparel and performance textile market as global quality standards gain wider adoption.
