Sunil Arora took helm as Council Director – Digitalization & Automation at Brands & Sourcing Leaders Association, a not-for-profit industry body representing large-scale lifestyle, textile, and apparel professionals across domestic and international markets. The association plays a vital role in accelerating the growth of the Indian apparel industry, strengthening ethical sourcing practices, and advancing the global adoption of “Make in India” through its strong network of buying, sourcing, and leadership communities worldwide.
Before joining Brands & Sourcing Leaders Association, Sunil Arora built an exceptional four-decade career across fashion operations, technology consulting, and global supply chain transformation. He is the Founder and CEO of USEREASE CONSULTING, where he has advised over 1,000 fashion companies across 50+ countries, pioneered India’s first apparel ERP platform, and delivered measurable gains in visibility, efficiency, and scalability. His leadership journey also includes senior roles such as Vice President – Global Business Development at WFX – World Fashion Exchange, Co-Founder at Trace Network Labs, Advisor to MannyAI, and strategic advisory positions with PDS Limited, METAVERSE FASHION COUNCIL, Retail AI Council, and multiple global fashion-tech startups, driving AI adoption, smart factory initiatives, and future-ready operating models.
Sunil holds a BSc (Hons) from Delhi University, a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, and advanced qualifications in software technology and computer programming. Alongside his professional achievements, he has contributed extensively as an educator and industry mentor, serving as senior faculty at National Institute of Fashion Technology Delhi, co-developing ERP-based curricula, mentoring global startups, and actively supporting councils and associations focused on digitalization, automation, and sustainable industry practices.
With this appointment, Sunil Arora brings a visibility-first, execution-led vision to Brands & Sourcing Leaders Association, strengthening its mission to guide the apparel industry toward smarter automation, ethical sourcing, and future-ready supply chains.
