Teijin Group’s fibers and products converting company, Teijin Frontier Co. Ltd. recently announced that its subsidiary company Teijin Frontier India Private Ltd will donate medical protective equipment to medical professionals to help fight the spread of COVID-19 in India. Beginning in September, equipment will be furnished to medical sites through iKure Techsoft Pvt Ltd., a medical IT services provider engaged in medical support activities, mainly in rural areas.
Medical protective equipment produced by Teijin Frontier that Teijin Frontier India plans to donate will includes 10,000 non-woven fabric masks, 2,800 non-woven fabric medical gowns (overall protective apparel) and 170,200 pairs of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) gloves.
