Nextil, a European textile manufacturing company sets up a new manufacturing plant in Bologna, Italy in order to expand its reach in the luxury garment section. To fulfill the requirement of Italian and French luxury brands, the company is looking forward to manufacturing ‘Made in Italy’ garments.
The Italian plant will operate as a part of the label Nextil Luxury while its activities will be distributed across the country through a commercial network. The location of the plant is well thought out from the company’s perspective since it allows easier connectivity with the luxury centers of Italy like Milan, Florence and Venice.
Within its first year of operation, the new plant has the capacity of producing 2000 garments every month.
Presently, Nextil has production plants around the Europe and Americas with one plant in the United States, six in Portugal, one in Guatemala and another small plant dedicated to bathroom furnishings in Badalona, Spain.
