Truerevo’s first product, the Smart Phone Shorts, launched in 2016, was introduced as a long-term solution to carrying one’s phone in their pocket. This was an instant hit with the consumers. The traction gained by the SPS shorts was just the beginning of a whole new wave of consumer wants. This led to Truerevo building an entire range of products infused with cutting-edge technology in their fabric and feel.
Selected in the top 50 upcoming sports brands in the world by ISPO, Munich, Truerevo has been featured on the top publications like CNN, Business Insider & many more for the ‘World’s Best Running Shorts’. Truerevo is also one of the few Indian companies that have bootstrapped its way through 2 Kickstarter campaigns and raised substantial funds for its range of innovative products.
Today, Truerevo has its products sold in over 56 countries, a few of which are the USA, Japan, Germany, the United Kingdom, and Singapore, with a complete product range of Sportswear and Accessories. After rooting itself for over 5 years with a remarkable brand presence in India, TrueRevo has imprinted itself on the world map as a premium athleisure-wear brand to reckon for.
The man behind the brand
A driven athlete and a compassionate businessman, Mr.Rohan Shah the CEO & Founder of TRUEREVO, used his fondness for his trade to create a brand like no other. Rohan found his vigour in harnessing his love for sports and infusing it with contemporary designs to create a brand that was not only innovative but also convenient.
Being a sports enthusiast since the ripe age of two, Rohan understood what it meant to be an athlete and most importantly what an athlete needed to succeed. Rohan plays many sports & has been selected for his state’s cricket age level teams and has even represented his university in the United Kingdom for table tennis and cricket. Thus, following his passion, in 2016, Mr. Rohan Shah started TRUEREVO to bring to the Indian market a product, with great performance fabric, great feel and an international appeal.
Well acquainted with fabric and the apparel industry, Rohan worked very closely with his family business and took charge of the family’s men’s apparel brand & also head the business development & operations verticals of their logistics business. This gave him a deeper understanding of the market and he used it to create a product line with apex quality.
Having pioneered TRUEREVO’s journey as the only Indian athleisure brand to have bootstrapped itself through two kickstarter campaigns & also won the coveted ISPO Munich Brandnew award for being one of the world’s most innovative brands in sportswear. His vision for TRUEREVO has always been to create a product brand that not only made people’s lives easier but also enhanced their lifestyle and mobility as individuals every step of the way.
With an agenda to deem TRUEREVO as a true revolution in the athleisure wear industry, Rohan believes that his consumers play a key role for the success of his vision.
