The Vietnam Textile and Apparel Association said the country will accomplish garment and textile export revenue of $40 bn this year, up 10.8 per cent from last year. According to the association, Vietnam is focusing on producing items with high competitiveness in the global market, and improving its garment and textile supply chain, as increasing local and foreign investments are pouring into the Vietnamese weaving, dyeing, material and accessory segments.
