The answer is taking shape in a new capsule denim collection born from a powerful three-way collaboration between the LYCRA® brand, Turkish denim mill Bossa, and garment maker Rimaks – and it will be on full display this season at Kingpins Amsterdam and House of Denim.
At the heart of the collection is LYCRA® VintageFX fiber, a technology engineered to deliver the authentic denim aesthetic consumers crave without sacrificing the stretch comfort they love. Bossa has developed three commercial fabrics using the fiber, spanning a range of stretch levels from 16% to 35%, offering the market meaningful versatility across fits and styles. They meet the fashion moment, too: Our textile experts worked closely with Bossa to ensure the fabrics align with current denim trends in both aesthetics and physical performance, making them an easy choice for leading denim brands.
Rimaks brings the fabrics to life as finished garments, applying the brand’s signature sustainable washing techniques to enhance the vintage character of each piece. The result is a capsule collection that speaks to both the style-conscious consumer and the sustainability-minded buyer — proof that performance and responsibility are not mutually exclusive.
