The market size of Indian embroidery is slated to be approximately 100 million US dollars per annum and increasing at 20% YOY.
The demand for embroidery is increasing, particularly for personalised and customised products, driven by the rise of handmade and DIY movements. The growth of the Indian textile and apparel industry is a major driver for embroidery demand, as more and more garments are incorporating embroidery. India is a major exporter of embroidered textiles, with destinations including Italy, France, United States, and UK. The market for Indian embroidery exports is also expanding.
