He highlighted the importance of knowledge sharing between Bangladeshi and Chinese institutions in the textile and fashion industries.
Additionally, Hossain underscored the need to diversify export products for the Chinese market and called for increased exchange of business delegations between the two nations. He encouraged participation in trade exhibitions to identify opportunities for bilateral trade and investment. The meeting was attended by BGMEA Support Committee members Miran Ali and Shehab Udduza Chowdhury.
The BGMEA Administrator also urged China to share market intelligence to support Bangladeshi businesses, ensuring smoother trade interactions and enhanced business opportunities with China.
Ambassador Yao Wen reaffirmed China’s commitment to the partnership, noting that China is a key supplier of man-made fiber-based fabrics, chemicals, and other raw materials critical to meeting the growing demands of Bangladesh’s apparel industry.
