The Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) was delighted to be a part of BHARAT TEX- a global textile mega event organised by the Ministry of Textiles in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.This unique platform showcased India’s entire textile value chain and also highlighted strengths in fashion, traditional crafts and sustainability initiatives.

An FDCI presentation titled ‘EARTH SONG’, A Showcase of Sustainable Fashion Show saw notable designers Payal Jain, Nitin Bal, Khadiwala, Anjali Kalia, Studio Medium, Sunita Shankar, Shruti Sancheti, Anavila, Karomi Crafts, Ka-Sha, Eka, Suket Dhir, And Hemang Aggarwal come together at the Open Air Amphitheatre, in Bharat Mandapam on the 27th February, 2024.
Event Highlights: Coveted Showcase and presentation by notable designers, focussing on sustainable fashion including Payal Jain, Nitin Bal, Khadiwala, Anjali Kalia, Studio Medium, Sunita Shankar, Shruti Sancheti, Anavila, Karomi Crafts, Ka-Sha, Eka, Suket Dhir, and Hemang Aggarwal unveiled their latest creations, showcasing a seamless blend of innovation and artisanal craftsmanship. The collection was a cohesive use of elements like earth; spice and natural dyes as also upcycled, handcrafted sustainable textiles conforming to the theme.
