The 18th edition of Hyundai India Couture Week 2025, in association with Reliance Brands, concluded in spectacular fashion at the Taj Palace, New Delhi, reaffirming its reputation as India’s premier couture showcase. An initiative by the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI), this year’s edition brought together 14 of the country’s most talented couturiers, who presented breathtaking collections that celebrated Indian craftsmanship, textile heritage, and modern design sensibilities. From intricate hand-embroidery and luxurious fabrics to dramatic silhouettes and immersive storytelling, each showcase highlighted the evolving narrative of Indian couture. The event not only honoured timeless traditions but also embraced innovation, with several designers exploring new forms, techniques, and collaborations.
The week opened with Rahul Mishra’s poetic collection, Becoming Love, in collaboration with Rivaah by Tanishq, blending Sufi philosophy, natureinspired embroidery, and bridal elegance. The finale was delivered in true grandeur by JJ Valaya with EAST, a majestic tribute to royal nomadism, closing the event on a note of historic opulence and narrative depth.
Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., marked the event as a moment of cultural pride and innovation, especially with the unveiling of the Hyundai CRETA Electric during the event — symbolising the confluence of design, sustainability, and progress.
Sunil Sethi, Chairman of FDCI, reflected, “Each edition of ICW reaffirms the incredible talent and heritage of Indian fashion. 2025 was about evolution — of craft, couture, and collaboration. We thank our designers, partners, and audiences for making it a phenomenal success.”
Hyundai India Couture Week 2025 was not just a fashion event — it was a cultural landmark, reaffirming that Indian couture continues to shape the global fashion narrative with pride, precision, and passion.
