Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav’s second day visit to Spain will be dedicated to enhancing cooperation between Madhya Pradesh’s textile sector and Spain’s world-renowned fashion and apparel industries. CM Dr. Yadav will engage with investors on MP’s textile policies, investment opportunities in apparel manufacturing and the PM MITRA Park initiative during this leg of the tour. CM Dr. Yadav will also speak in La Coruña on attracting sustainable investment in the textile sector and facilitating technology transfer.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav will travel from Madrid to La Coruña on 17 July, the second day of the visit. He will tour the headquarters of Inditex, one of the world’s largest fashion retailers and hold meetings with company representatives. Discussions will center around promoting Madhya Pradesh as a manufacturing hub for European fashion brands.
CM Dr. Yadav will also tour La Coruña city and is scheduled to meet with local government officials and representatives from the Chamber of Commerce. Site visits to textile companies are planned as well. Further engagements include investment discussions with textile and fashion companies, a networking lunch with investors and institutional representatives and a presentation by a parliamentary delegation on investment opportunities. One-on-one meetings will also be held. CM Dr. Yadav will depart from La Coruña for Barcelona in the evening.
