Nitin Spinners, the Bhilwara, Rajasthan based company that manufactures 100 per cent cotton yarns and cotton fabrics, will be setting up an integrated textile unit in Chittorgarh District of Rajasthan at a cost of Rs. 650 cr. Nitin Spinners’ turnover increased 15.68 per cent year-on-year to Rs. 287.10 cr for the quarter ended December 31, 2017.

“The Board of Directors of Nitin Spinners Ltd has approved the setting up of integrated textile unit at village – Bhanwaria Kalan, tehsil – Begun, District – Chittorgarh (Rajasthan) for manufacturing of apparel fabrics at an estimated project outlay of Rs. 650 cr,” the company said in a filing to the stock exchanges. In February 2017, Nitin spinners had commenced commercial production at its expanded capacity of 72,960 compact spindles. The company now has 2,23,056 spindles and 2,936 rotors with a capacity to produce 50,000 tonne per annum (TPA) of cotton yarn and 8,500 TPA of knitted fabrics.

Nitin Spinners makes cotton yarn in single, multi-fold slub, compact, core spun and Elitwist yarns. It also produces super fine compact premium yarns. About 65 per cent of its production is exported to over 50 countries including the US, the EU, Africa, Middle East and Far East.
